I was only staying in Flagstaff for a few days. I'm glad this place was less than 3 minutes away from my hotel. The border burger was delicious. I just wish the burger was bigger because I didn't exactly feel full after eating it. It was a little pricey for the amount of fries and onion rings I was getting but the flavor is all around great.

I became aware Brown Bag Burgers by way of social media advertising... I think. I have vivid memories of watching a video reel showcasing the burger offerings, yet I can find no evidence of it in my browser history, so maybe it was beamed directly into my head by way of 5G or vaccination or some other form of modern subliminal messaging. Whatever form of illuminati advertising was at play, it worked: not only did we decide to check it out, we SCHEDULED SPECIFIC PLANS to go check it out. We made logistical decisions to seek it out. Was it the promise of luscious hamburgers in dozens of scrumptious varieties with names like "Dante's Inferno" and "Jamin' Mushroom"? Was it the convenience of being along our travel route? Was the price point significantly more aligned with our budget than Sizzler? (Since when did Sizzler become so expensive?!) Yes, yes, and yes. Whatever siren song lured us in the door, we enjoyed our meal greatly. The kitchen was willing to do a lettuce wrap to meet a dietary restriction and the food was very tasty. I'd describe the decor and atmosphere as 'self-consciously hipster' seeing as it involves a lot of raw cement walls and aluminum trays, which was functional but rather uninspired. The servers were nice in a somewhat detached way, which was fine.

We came here, based on the great reviews, on a Sunday afternoon for a post skiing hamburger. We are so glad to have discovered this amazing place. Best burgers ever! I had the mushroom burger, daughter and husband had the classic. Absolutely delicious and the fries and chipotle sauce were also delicious. This will be our go to whenever we visit Flagstaff. And my husband said that the IPA was tasty and delicious and my daughter LOVED the Pazooki! The Friendly staff and cool vibe were a plus.

Staying at motor lodge next door needed something in walking distance that served gluten free food. Went and had a chili burger, loaded fries and and old fashion. Was not disappointed. Food was great, service was great, and drink was good only negative was no garnish for drink, but it's a burger bar what do you want? All around great vibes and will recommend for anyone looking for gluten free food.

Great burger and tots! Tots were made extra crispy and were perfectly crunchy on the outside and soft in the middle. Got the Fungus Amongus and was cooked just the way I asked with a little pink in the middle - delicious!

Randomly craving burgers, we found this gem. The food was world-class. We had the pretzel and cheese appetizer as well as the mac and cheese bites. Then we had the BBQ burger with fried pickles and the Fungus Amongus burger with sweet potato fries. Everything was AMAZING! The staff was very friendly and there's free parking nearby.

What a place!! Yall are something special . Our server was amazing. We all tried something different, and we were all super impressed. We tried the pretzels with the mustard and queso, super yummy. The portion sizes are great. Our human disposal actually got full. The onion rings and French fries are perfect!

We were passing through Flag and saw that Brown Bag Burger was here. I used to eat at BBB in Yuma while in the Marine Corps. It's still awesome. Great burgers and really good sides. I had the fried pickles that were close to pickle fries and the Donte's Inferno Burger. My son had the kids' cheese burger and fries. Everything was delicious. Decent tap list, although they had just run out of ipa, and that's my go-to. However, BBB also brews their own beer. I tried their Blonde, and it was solid. I got to chat with the owner, Ian. He was super chill and provided great service. Next time we're in Flag, we'll be back. Oh, and free parking in the garage behind the restaurant.
